Directions to Kinnaird
With stunning views overlooking the River Tay and Tay valley, Kinnaird is to be found a few miles away from Dunkeld, to the north of Perth.
We are best reached by car and train. The closest airport is Edinburgh, and we will be delighted to organize our chauffeurs to collect you.
For those guests wishing to travel more independently the co-ordinates required for helicopter landing are N56º37.769/W03º39.413. Please advise us prior to your arrival for us to be able to prepare everything for you.
For smaller aircrafts, for example Cessnas, there is a possible landing site on the far side of the River Tay. This is weather dependant and arrangements need to be made well in advance.
From The North
From Pitlochry, follow the A9 Ballinluig south towards Dunkeld. Two miles south of Ballinluig you will have a view of Kinnaird on your right hand side. After a further 3 miles cross the River Tay and take an immediate right turn onto the B898 signposted Dalguise, Kinnaird and Balnaguard. After another 4 1/2 miles, the main gates of Kinnaird will appear on your right hand side.
From The South
From Perth take the A9 north, signposted Inverness, for 15 miles to Dunkeld. Do not exit into Dunkeld but continue for a further 2 miles. Turn left onto the B898 signposted Dalguise, Kinnaird and Balnaguard and follow this road for 4 1/2 miles. The main gates of Kinnaird will appear on your right hand side.
