Fine Kinnaird experiences include:

An Evening Under the Stars

As the sun goes down in the hills above the hotel, we will take you up to the old bothy in one of the wildest and most beautiful parts of the estate where the only sounds will be the gentle rippling of the loch and the crackling of the bonfire as you enjoy locally brewed ale and generous helpings of chef's special game stew.

A Day on the Estate

Your day could start with a guided tour on private tracks or an inspection of the estate from one of Kinnaird's 4 wheel drive vehicles. See local wildlife, conservation areas, hidden lochs and historic sites. High on the hill try clay target shooting or casting and fly-tying at the loch. A traditional picnic lunch will be followed by a falconry demonstration and the opportunity to handle and fly the magnificent birds. Finally, head back to the house to enjoy a fine malt by the blazing log fire and select the wine to accompany your dinner from the well stocked wine cellar.

A Scottish Country Afternoon

As in bygone times, guests can enjoy a selection of competitive or fun outdoor games in the gardens and pasture. Tennis, croquet, archery and guided walks are available. The estate ghillie will run a casting school and a local artist can be called on to offer drawing and painting instruction.

The Magical Millpond

Kinnaird's Millpond is a truly magical, hidden place. At the end of a beaten track after crossing rock strewn hills and moorland, you encounter the small loch set in a dramatic landscape. Stoke the log fire in the rustic bothy and enjoy a picnic or barbecue in a peaceful, secluded environment. Wander through the heather and try your hand at trout fishing.
