The Courtyard Cottages

A few minutes stroll from the main House past the Victorian Garden, Jock Scott and Keeper's Cottages ‘snuggle’ around the old courtyard.

Courtroom Cottages

Considered as part of the ‘big House’, the cottages make an ideal choice for families or guests wanting a little more independence during their stay while making the most of all the benefits that the House has to offer.

Decorated with caring hands, Mrs Constance Ward envisages the same level of luxury and comfort for guests whether staying in a cottage or the main House.

Jock Scott Courtyard Cottage

Named after ‘Jock the Scott’ the fishing fly, this cottage is a romantic one-bedroom hideaway overlooking the Tay valley and river.

The large living room with its open gas fire is romantic and rustic, the floor to ceiling glass windows open onto the outdoor deck where a  hot toddy  is best enjoyed watching the stars at night. The double bedroom connects to an intimate cosy dressing room and  a modern en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower.

Keepers Courtyard Cottage

This cottage with two double bedrooms, both en-suite, lounge and separate dining room is ideal for smaller get togethers. The decking leading from the beautiful drawing room gives spectacular views of the valley below.

Catered meals can be prepared in the spacious kitchen and Kinnaird’s Head Chef Jean-Baptiste is always delighted to send over little delicacies. Head Housekeeper Debbie is on hand to organise any personal requirements or make arrangements for fresh flowers.

Kinnaird Dog Policy

We welcome dogs staying with their owners in the Courtyard Cottages.  A small charge of £35 will be made to cover additional cleaning.  We respectfully request dogs are supervised at all times.  A kennel is available at the main house, or we can provide a cage in the kitchen of the cottage.   In the event of any damage, dog owners will be held liable.
