Rooms

Kinnaird Estate was the Ward family home before opening its doors as a hotel in the summer of 1990.
In keeping with the tradition of the house, the interior design of the eight generously sized bedrooms is still directed personally by Mrs Constance Cluett Ward. All of the rooms have their own distinctive character, as do the luxuriously appointed bathrooms. Each has a myriad of stories to tell and takes its name from a location on the estate.

Imagine the scene... guests are welcomed to the luxury of an immaculately dressed cosy and comfortable room with a roaring open fire blazing on the cooler days of the year, a range of handpicked CDs and books have been selected in case you have forgotten to pack your own, the towels are warmed and the Butler is on hand to draw your bath if you wish. A decanter of ‘Highland Heater’ - a spiced whisky made to a family recipe by Mrs. Ward’s daughter Marion, The Viscountess Thurso, waits expectantly.  The Kinnaird welcome is perfected with a butler-served tray of tea to help you unwind after your journey.
