The Kinnaird Suite
Opening the doors to the Kinnaird Suite is an invitation to the grandness of yesteryear.
The dark green of the rich wallpaper in the sitting room is complemented with antique furniture, and a marble fire surround. Two big windows offer the most beautiful outlook over the Tay River, the fields of the Estate and the valley beyond.
The hidden bar is perfect when entertaining and can be stocked and serviced to suit your individual requirements for pre-dinner cocktails and canapés.
Walking through to the bedroom with its soft golden tones and elegant rose patterns brings back the memories of bygone elegance, one can imagine the shafts of sun glowing through the window, guests partaking of a relaxed breakfast in the privacy of their own sitting room or the luxury of breakfast served on a tray whilst still in bed, a lady seated at the elegant dressing table grooming herself for the social engagements of the day ahead...
Today, in keeping with the expectations of the Laird and Lady of the Estate, a butler drawn bath is easily arranged upon return from a long day hill-walking or fishing and a hot water bottle wrapped in Kinnaird tweed concealed under crisp cotton sheets is a pleasant surprise on turning in after dinner.
