Cancellation Policy

All reservations cancelled out with 14 days are refundable in full, less a £30 administration charge per room. At the managements discretion reservations cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival will be charged for in full unless the accommodation is re-sold or the accommodation is re-booked for a later date.  This must be done at the time of cancellation.

Weekends

The weekend is classified where applicable as Friday and Saturday, during Bank holidays Sunday and Monday are also classified as the weekend; weekdays are from Sunday to Thursday inclusive.
All weekend reservations are for a minimum of two nights or for three nights during a bank holiday weekend. 

Dogs

Dogs are not permitted within the main house, we provide kenneled accommodation for those requiring it during there stay.

Within our Courtyard Cottages well behaved dogs are permitted.  We would respectfully request that dogs are supervised at all times in the Cottage and on the Estate.  When dogs cannot be supervised then we would request that dogs are kept in our kennel, or we can provide a cage for use in your cottage kitchen.

There will be a £35 charge per stay for all dogs in order to cover excess cleaning costs.  In the event of any damages you will be personally liable for all costs incurred as a result, including but not limited to breakages, extra cleaning and loss of business.

Smoking Policy

In line with UK legislation guests are not permitted to smoke anywhere in the hotel building, cottages or guest bedrooms.

Dinner Reservations

For your convenience a table for dinner shall be held for all residential guests whether it is included in your tariff or not.  As such please inform us if you do not intend to dine, at any point during your stay. 

Deposits

Upon booking your credit card details will be requested.  These will be securely held on file and will be used to process the deposit necessary to confirm and guarantee your reservation.  The credit card details may also be used for payment of any items left outstanding upon departure
The deposit payable will be at the rate of the first nights accommodation unless you are booking for one of our seasonal promotions in which case the entire amount will be payable in advance.
The deposit is refundable only in line with our cancellation policy stipulated previously.

Children

Children over seven years are warmly welcome alongside their parents in the main house.  Children are requested to dress accordingly whilst dining in the main dining room. One of our Studies can be requested for a more casual dining experience or High Tea.

Children under seven years are warmly welcomed in our Courtyard Cottages where they can comfortably join their parents.  Cots are available for young children upon request at a charge of £35 per night, and a babysitting service can also be arranged upon request.

The charge for all children not using a cot will be £100 per night and all meals will be charged as taken.

Single Occupancy

Prices are available by request only for rooms available on a single occupancy basis.

Lost Property

After the departure if there are any items of lost property left in your room we will endeavor to contact you to ensure you wish these items returned to yourself at your expense.  If we cannot contact you then we will send these items and the appropriate charge will be taken from the credit card details supplied at the time of reservation.
For miscellaneous items of lost property (i.e. those left in the public areas) we can only guarantee these to be held for a period of 6 months.

Security Policy

None of our customers have reported any fraudulent use of their credit or debit card details as a result of a booking made with us. When booking on-line our secure-server software encrypts all of your personal information (including name, address, credit/debit card details) and sends them securely to us over the internet.

Privacy Policy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your security and privacy. When booking your name, address, credit card details and any other information that you give us will be kept secure.  The information you provide us with will be used to help us understand your preferences better and therefore allow us to send information that we feel is relevant to you. We retain your personal information for our own use primarily. However, from time to time, we may pass your information to other similar companies that we believe may be of interest or relevant to you.

Please let us know if you would prefer not to receive such information, or you if would like us not to pass on or share your personal information with third party companies.

Health and Safety

Whilst every care is taken to ensure your safety and security when at Kinnaird, we can accept no responsibility for injury or loss as a result of your stay or activities participated in on the Estate. 

We do have wheelchair access for those requiring it including ramp to the main house, suitable width doors for access to all ground floor rooms, ground floor wheelchair access bathroom, and ground floor bedroom.  This bedroom has not been specifically converted to accommodate wheelchair users and as such we advise that a degree of mobility is recommended.

Other Information

Kinnaird reserves the right to alter rates without prior notification.
All prices shown are inclusive of the Government Value Added Tax - VAT. There is no service charge. Gratuities are entirely at your discretion.
All package rates are based on two people sharing a room.
In order to avoid disappointment, we advise that you book activities in advance.
Kinnaird can accept no responsibility for the services provided by our contracted Chauffeur, Clay Pigeon Instructor and Retreat Therapists.  Whilst every care is taken to ensure that their services are timely, efficient and of the utmost quality the responsibility for their services lies ultimately with the service provider.
