The warmest of welcomes

Behind the soft-grey stone of the mansion's Georgian facade awaits an interior which has all the comfort and graciousness of an Edwardian country house.

At the heart of the house the Cedar Room is irresistibly inviting, especially when its log fire is ablaze in the winter months. This is a room for quiet reading, lively conversation, for playing games or simply enjoying a drink before lunch or dinner in the elegant 3 AA Rosette restaurant. From the adjoining billiard room, its walls adorned with trophy cases of impressive catches from the Kinnaird beat, guests can admire extensive views across the Tay.

All the public rooms and the nine guest bedrooms are furnished with antique furniture, fine china and pictures collected by the Ward family. The Audubon prints are a striking reminder of Kinnaird's transatlantic connections.

Two smaller drawing rooms, once Mr. and Mrs. Ward's studies, are also available to guests and are perfect for a quiet lunch or dinner. They are regularly used for private drinks party and small business meetings or for taking morning coffee or afternoon tea.
