Salmon Fishing on the River Tay
The renowned Kinnnaird beat is arguably the most prolific fly fishing beat on the entire middle Tay. Fresh run fish are present in the Kinnaird beat from January onwards due to the early run of Loch Tay salmon and the early arriving River Tummel salmon which back up in this magnificent beat throughout the Spring months. The fishing increases in potency from March onwards with more and more salmon seeking refuge in the unique pool formations from which Kinnaird is fortunate to benefit.
We have two well-equipped fishing huts both with full cooking facilities, hot and cold water, WC, fridge and freezer. The beat also holds a good stock of high quality fishing equipment should a client wish to hire fishing tackle. Most importantly we have two experienced ghillies whose knowledge and understanding of the beat is second to none and who are enthusiastic to deliver the perfect fishing experience for their clients. They can offer private lessons for beginners or advice for the more experienced anglers.

Loch Fishing
What better way to get away from the stress of everyday life than a day’s fishing for brown trout on a quiet Scottish hill loch where the gentle lapping of the water against the shore is the only sound to disturb the tranquillity?
Mill Pond and Loch Skiach offer loch fishing in beautiful surroundings. Both have bothies available for day or overnight stays, ideal for BBQs and picnic lunches.
There is a boat available for use on the loch.
